1. Total magnification ranges from 10x to 60x (standard) and 2.5x to 240x / 360x with optional auxiliary objectives and eyepieces.
2. The Stereo Zoom Microscope incorporates a matched pair of parfocal zoom objectives with continuously variable magnification from 1.0x to 6.0x without changing focus or working distance. It is fitted with a coaxial illuminator.
3. This model is well suited for the production and inspection of silicon wafers and integrated circuits (ICs).
4. Microscope Body: 45-degree inclined binocular body with interpupillary distance and dioptric adjustments. The binocular head is rotatable through 360 degrees.
5. Stand: Pillar stand with coarse focusing by pillar clamp and fine focusing by rack and pinion.
6. Optical System and Binocular Prism Head: Original Nissho, Japan (Model DZC-240).
7. Twin Zooming Objective: 1.0x to 6.0x with a zooming ratio of 1:6.
8. Eyepieces: Paired wide-field 10x WF eyepieces.
9. The stereo zoom head is fitted with a coaxial illumination system for precise observation. It provides intense light through the optical axis using a half mirror placed in the observation axis, enabling the specimen to be viewed under total reflected light.
10. Polarising filters are also provided to cut off unwanted and stray light.
